Liverpool fans are heading to Wembley ahead of the Carabao Cup final today. The Reds secured their place in the final against Newcastle United after beating Tottenham Hotspurs over two legs.
Thousands of supporters are expected to make the trip to Wembley from Liverpool this morning (Sunday, March 16) ahead of the game at 4.30pm. While Newcastle United fans are facing significant travel disruption due to weekend work on the East Coast Main Line, LFC supporters travelling from Liverpool are not expected to have the same issues.
For those unsuccessful in the ballot, there are planned screenings of the Carabao Cup final set to take place in venues across Merseyside for fans who were unsuccessful in the ballot for tickets. The M&S Bank Arena will screen the Carabao Cup final on a giant screen. The event starts at 2.30pm, two hours before kick-off.
