Just a few days ago it seemed like Kyle Juszczyk's memorable eight-year run with the San Francisco 49ers had come to an end. This is after the Niners decided to waive the All-Pro fullback, thereby making him an unrestricted free agent.
Juszczyk reportedly received an offer from the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the nine-time Pro Bowler decided to turn it down in favor of a return to the Niners. Juszczyk ultimately put pen to paper on a two-year deal worth $8 million, which is reportedly less than what the Steelers had on the table.
It wasn't just Juszczyk who breathed a sigh of relief now that he's made his return to San Francisco official. His wife, Kristin Juszczyk, is also delighted with how things have fallen back into place.
Kristin Juszczyk sent an emotional message to the 49ers on Friday as she expressed her heartfelt reaction to the rather unexpected turn of events.
"This past week has really made Kyle and I reflect on our past 8 years in the Bay," Kristin Juszczyk posted on Instagram, sharing a video montage of their best moments with the Niners over the past eight years. "We grew up here. We turned friends into family here. We won championships here and we lost championships here.
"We feel so incredibly blessed to have called the bay home for the past 8 years. It's truly been the best years of our lives. Kyle's curtain isn't closed just yet and we couldn't be more happy and emotional to stay home!!! We're forever Faithful @49ers @juicecheck44"

The post quickly blew up online as Niners fans responded to Kristin Juszczyk's heartfelt message.
"Thank god. Don't scare me like that again," a comment on Instagram read.
"We woke up happy as hell in this house today " said another.
"Here I am crying at 5am!!!! Glory to God!!!!! " a supporter admitted.
"I'm hysterical," reacted a fan.
Some of Kyle and Kristin Juszczyk's closest friends from the team also shared in their delight.
"" George Kittle wrote.
"FULL (expletive) SEND SISTER " commented Kittle's wife, Claire Kittle.
"HELLL YEAHHHH BABY!!!!!!" reacted Olivia Culpo, the wife of Christian McCaffrey.
It has been an incredible eight years for Juszczyk in San Francisco. As it turns out, however, his story with the Niners is not over yet.
