Another big game to take place in the UCL and it will be between Arsenal and Real Madrid.
Arsenal to face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the UCL
After a great display in Round 16 of the Champions League, the Gunners are once again at the Quarter-Final stage. This is the second year in a row that they have qualified to this stage. They were absent from the UCL for almost 10 years. They now set a date with 15-time champion Real Madrid, possibly the best tie of the competition so far.
It’s a draw any football supporter can see as it’s a wonderful tale going into the two-legged tie in April 2025. Arsenal have been denied a Champions League title for decades. That was made all the harder when they were defeated in the UCL Final in 2006 by Barcelona.
On the flip side, the best-performing side in this tournament has been the La Liga side. Because they win this tournament nearly each season. This is still at the early days of the Quarter-Finals stage, but the north London side may win the UCL by beating Los Blancos.
It is expected that Bukayo Saka will be back at the end of March. He might be able start against the Los Blancos and it will be a huge boost for the English team for sure.

The Los Blancos beat Atletico on penalties
The reigning champions beat Atletico Madrid in a Champions League penalty shootout – once more. They have set up a Champions League quarter-final tie with Arsenal.
After Atletico’s 1-0 evening win, the aggregate score become 2-2 after extra-time. Real’s Antonio Rudiger netted the winning penalty. Two Atletico players failed to score in a 4-2 shootout win.
Marco Llorente hit the post following Julian Alvarez’s slip. Alvarez’s penalty kick was ruled out after the VAR check for having hit the ball twice.
