Colorado Buffaloes two-way star and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter is one of the top names in the upcoming 2025 NFL draft.
Hunter, along with Colorado teammate and quarterback Shedeur Sanders, are commonly projected in the top-five picks of the draft in April.
While Hunter's landing spot has been a big talking point lately -- and it will continue to be over the next month -- a recent mock draft has him going at No. 2 overall.
James Foster of The 33rd Team has Hunter going at No. 2 to the Cleveland Browns, teaming up with QB Deshaun Watson, who signed a five year, $230 million deal in March 2022.
"Cleveland's receiver room is thin and Martin Emerson is coming off the worst season of his career. The Browns fortify both positions with Travis Hunter, the most versatile NFL draft prospect of all time," Foster wrote about the selection.
Foster has Miami QB Cam Ward going first overall to the Tennessee Titans and Shedeur Sanders going No. 3 to the New York Giants.
Meanwhile, Watson's 2025 season is in jeopardy after he underwent surgery for another Achilles injury. The Browns QB still has two years remaining on his current deal.
Hunter made it clear that he wants to play both cornerback and wide receiver in the NFL.
"I want to play 100 percent (on both sides), but it's up to the organization," Hunter said in February per Eric Edholm of NFL.com.
The Browns finished 11-6 and lost in the Wild Card round in the 2023 campaign, although they finished 3-14 in 2024 and have a lot of question marks.
The Browns selecting Hunter -- and using him at both positions -- would shore up two spots with one selection and give the offense a talented weapon.
