Chelsea drop team news hints for Arsenal amid Reece James decision

Chelsea - and a number of their players - have dropped early team news hints for this afternoon's London derby against Arsenal in the Premier League. Enzo Maresca's side make the short trip to the Emirates Stadium aiming to strengthen their top-four hopes.

The Blues head into that match on the back of four straight wins, including last week's 1-0 victory over Leicester City. Manchester City's draw with Brighton on Saturday means the west Londoners can move four points clear in the Champions League qualification spots.

Victory in north London would also all-but put an end to Arsenal's dwindling title hopes. Mikel Arteta's team are currently 15 points behind Liverpool.

After a comfortable evening's work in the Conference League on Thursday, all eyes will be on the team news to see what starting XI Maresca has selected. Ahead of the game, there have been a few hints dropped throughout social media platforms from the club and players themselves.

On Saturday, the club posted a video from training which included a number of key players. Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia, Cole Palmer, Robert Sanchez, Wesley Fofana, Enzo Fernandez and Reece James were all on display, hinting at their likely inclusion.

This morning, Tosin Adarabioyo, Moises Caicedo and Fernandez posted pre-match graphics on to their Instagram stories. That usually means they will be included in some way - though the trio are all expected to start the game.

James sat out the win over Leicester seven days ago, but he returned off the bench against Copenhagen. Benoit Badiashile, who hasn't played in the Premier League since December 8, has also posted a graphic after playing 90 minutes on Thursday night.
