CEO Angus Kinnear is to leave Leeds United at the end of this season, and he’s aiming to bring two transfer specialists from Elland Road to his new gig at Everton.
Off the field, Leeds are primed for more significant change as we approach the closing stages of this Championship season, with the 49ers expected more of a reshuffle.
As they plan to take over at Rangers, they are also going to be on the hunt for a replacement for Angus Kinnear as Leeds CEO.

Confirmation came this month that Leeds CEO Kinnear is to leave the club at the end of the season, with Everton moving to confirm his imminent appointment.
Kinnear will be taking up the same role on Merseyside, as the Toffees prepare for another season in the Premier League in a new era under recent new owners The Friedkin Group, moving to their new Bramley Moore Dock stadium.

Alan Nixon has now reported in The Sun on Sunday’s print edition (16/3, p55) that Kinnear is eyeing two Leeds figures to bring with him to Everton: recruitment advisor Nick Hammond, and chief scout Gary Penrice.
Both Hammond and Penrice have been at the club since the 49ers took over at Elland Road in the summer of 2023, helping Leeds stabilise after the exit of Victor Orta in May that year.
49ers and Paraag Marathe have plenty of work to do this summer
Whether it’s the club having to overhaul the squad regardless of what happens this season, or the personnel in the boardroom needing replacing, the 49ers have their work cut out this summer.
Kinnear leaving is a big gap to fill, and if he does manage to bring across any other club figures to Merseyside, they’ll need covering.
Add to that the fact that the lineup is going to see plenty of changes once again, if Leeds are in the Premier League or in the Championship, and it makes for a hectic few months ahead.
