Ange Postecoglou has made the wrong call after dropping Micky van de Ven for the clash between Tottenham and Fulham on Sunday.
The Lilywhites have taken the trip across the capital to Craven Cottage on 16 March to face Marco Silva’s side and have since announced their starting 11 via X.
This has seen the Australian head coach make seven changes from the midweek win against AZ Alkmaar with the likes of Ben Davies, Rodrigo Bentancur and Mathys Tel all coming in.
This has seen van de Ven, Lucas Bergvall and Son-Heung min drop out of the starting 11 in what could prove to be a wise move by Postecoglou on the banks of the Thames.

Postecoglou axes x v Fulham
Despite making changes to his side, the 59-year-old has once again opted to stick by Guglielmo Vicario in goal after he was forced into just one save last time out [FotMob].

Ahead of him, Djed Spence and Cristian Romero have kept their places in the side with the latter winning five duels against AZ. Alongside the Argentine, Davies and Destiny Udogie have come in from the start.
Van de Ven has dropped to the bench despite maintaining an 86 per cent pass accuracy at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The midfield three is completely changed as Yves Bissouma has been given a start ahead of Pape Sarr after he failed to win a tackle or aerial duel in North London. The Mali international is set to be joined by Rodrigo Bentancur and Archie Gray who have both come in for James Maddison and Bergvall.
In a switched up front line, Dominic Solanke has kept his place while Brennan Johnson has come in on the flank. The England international front man grabbed two assists in mid-week.
On the opposite flank, Wilson Odobert has dropped out despite netting a brace and keeping up a 100 per cent dribble success rate in his second start since February. This has seen Tel start for the first time since 6 March.
Tottenham need to win v Fulham
It is no secret that Spurs have struggled to perform in the Premier League this season, showcased by their poor position in the table.
With that being said, Postecoglou will be hoping that his side can use the joy of Europa League progress to boost their league progress.

Premier League table
The win against AZ Alkmaar was nervy at times but ultimately proved to be comfortable and the Lilywhites can hope for a similar result at Craven Cottage.
Silva has got his side playing at a top level and fighting for a European place so there are no guarantees of a positive result against a London rival.
