While many fans followed the team to London, back in the North East fanzones have been set up at Stack at St James' Park, the Utilita Arena, and at Times Square in Newcastle city centre, so people can support locally as well.
The region has made its support clear too, with scarves hung on the Millennium Bridge at the Quayside, and the Angel of the North donning its own Newcastle shirt.
