Luka Doncic’s Injury Status Before Phoenix Suns-Los Angeles Lakers

The Phoenix Suns are on the road for a matchup in the Crypto.com Arena as they take on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Evidently, as bad as the Suns' season has been, they've got a chance for a second victory as they roll into Los Angeles to take on a Lakers squad who has lost four straight contests.

Phoenix has also taken down the Lakers in two of the two sides' three matchups this season.

With Devin Booker and Kevin Durant on the roster, the Suns should be able to compete with any squad on a nightly basis, though their 31-36 record suggests otherwise.

However, ahead of the club's matchup against Los Angeles, Grayson Allen has been ruled out with an ankle sprain. Monte Morris is questionable with a low back injury and Nick Richards is probable with an ankle sprain.

Evidently, the main reason for the Lakers' recent slippage is an injury to LeBron James. His groin strain is quite brutal for the opposition, and he won't be in this contest.

One key status to watch is Luka Doncic, though, as the superstar can certainly keep the Lakers afloat in this matchup.

Luka Doncic's injury status before Lakers-Suns

Prior to the Suns' matchup in Los Angeles, Doncic is listed as probable with an ankle sprain. He missed a recent contest for the Lakers.

On top of Doncic being on the injury report, the Lakers have listed as Dalton Knecht as probable with back soreness. Dorian Finney-Smith is questionable with ankle management.

Rui Hachimura has already been ruled out.

Evidently, the Lakers have quite a steep injury report, though most being labeled as questionable or probable should bode well for the already-shorthanded Los Angeles squad.

Phoenix will look to go secure a second-straight win, doing so on the road against the Lakers.
