Fiorentina-Juventus is set to be a special occasion for a number of reasons. It is a huge match in the battle for European spots in Serie A, as Fiorentina currently sit in ninth place and need to make up at least two positions in the standings if they are to be involved in a UEFA competition next season.

Juventus, meanwhile, are fourth, but risk slipping out of the Champions League positions if they do not beat the Viola.

Additionally, there will also be a series of special choreographies from the Fiorentina supporters. One to honour the returning Batistuta, and another in memory of the club’s general manager Joe Barone, who died just shy of a year ago, on March 19, 2024.
