Myles Garrett Hints at Positive Browns Quarterback Situation in 2025

Cleveland Browns star defender Myles Garrett recently signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension to stay in Cleveland after a very public demand to be traded to "a contender."

One of the reasons for the Browns' struggles in recent years is the quarterback position.

Since Garrett agreed to stay in Cleveland, one can only assume the club convinced him that it would be a contender soon, which means possibly solving the issues under center.

Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles for the second time in three months back in January and is expected to miss all or most of 2025. So whatever the plan is at quarterback must be a solid one - although outsiders have no idea what that is.

During a recent appearance with Andrew Siciliano, Garrett admitted he knows what the Browns' plan is under center for next season.

"After conversations, I do have an idea [of who the quarterback will be]," Garrett said." I like it enough to be here, smiling in front of you because I think we have a good chance of that happening and making the most out of it."

Like a good team player, Garrett refused to elaborate on the situation, but we do know the Browns have options. Cleveland is chasing a couple of veteran free agents, and it owns the No. 2 overall pick in next month's NFL Draft.
