The new rules keep on giving, with Cavan producing a superb display at King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park to beat their Rossie hosts and set up a thrilling last-day finale at the summit of Division 2 next Sunday.
Whereas Monaghan (ten points) are in the box seat for promotion, we now have a three-way tie for second place between Roscommon, Cavan and Meath.
