Everton are said to be among “a number” of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on West Brom winger Tom Fellows ahead of the summer transfer window.
David Moyes, who has seen previous success targeting the Championship with the likes of Jarrod Bowen, has been a keen admirer of the winger for some time but seemingly faces competition for his signature.
The Albion academy graduate has been one of the most talked about Championship transfer rumours in recent months, especially with the Baggies dropping points in the Championship in a 1-1 draw against Hull City this weekend, heaping pressure on Tony Mowbray’s side.
The Baggies remain serious play-off contenders, and they will want to keep it that way if West Brom’s debt repayments are anything to go by.

The club released accounts detailing a £34m loss made in 2023-24, the heaviest in their history, and should they fail to gain promotion this season, Fellows is clearly their most valuable asset, staking a claim as one of the best players in the Championship.
According to journalist, Alan Nixon, David Moyes sent Alan Irvine and Charlie Adam to continue monitoring the Everton target this week in West Brom’s 1-1 draw with Burnley; however, the 21-year-old was absent from the squad due to a family bereavement.
Fellows, however, will still be firmly focused on helping the club he and the rest of his family support gain promotion from the Championship.
West Brom ‘insist’ no Tom Fellows deal was made with Everton
It was reported during the January transfer window that Everton had agreed a £10 million deal with West Brom for the winger, something the club “insist” never happened.
Speaking exclusively to EFL Analysis, Graeme Bailey, shared what he has been told about the ongoing situation.
He said: “West Brom insist no deal was agreed in the January window for Tom Fellows, yes, clubs were interested, and Everton feel they came close.
“But Fellows never pushed for the move, he is happy at the club and loving life under Tony Mowbray.
“West Brom appreciate they have a huge talent on their hands but accept that it might be hard to keep him if they don’t get promoted, but that is their only thought at this moment; they think they have a great chance of going up and Fellows is a big part of that.”

Everton are the most vocal admirers of Fellows but seemingly face competition from other Premier League clubs.
Graeme added: “Everton are continuing to assess him [Fellows], but I am told there are a number of Premier League clubs who like Fellows. He is a major talent.”
Why Tom Fellows is attracting Premier League interest
Since enjoying a breakout season at The Hawthorns last term, Tom Fellows has grown into one of West Brom’s biggest attacking threats as they target a Premier League return.
He is the joint-top assist maker in the Championship, recording 11 so far this season, matched only by Middlesbrough’s Finn Azaz.
Top Assists in the EFL Championship
Finn Azaz (Middlesbrough) 11
Tom Fellows (West Brom) 11
Josh Murphy (Portsmouth) 10
Jack Rudoni (Coventry City) 10
Junior Firpo (Leeds United) 9

His standout strength is cutting to the byline and playing the ball across the six-year box for oncoming attackers, his style is very much a throwback to the traditional winger of years gone by.
Albion fans will tell you that Fellows is always eager to beat his man when in possession, the youngster has created more chances than any of his teammates this season. An exciting player who regularly gets West Brom fans off their seats.
He also has an eye for goal, as showcased in his first England call-up at U21 level in September last year. Making his debut in a 0-0 draw with Northern Ireland, he opened his account three days later in a 4-1 win over Austria. He has recorded two league goals so far this season.
Fellows has enjoyed a successful start to his career, but he’s not the finished article and still has room to improve, which is exactly why so many top clubs are interested in recruiting him.
With Fellows, potential is what you are paying for, the winger himself has previously admitted as much when speaking to club media last season.
He said: “I’ve just got to keep working hard and keep learning, keep developing. I know I’m not perfect, I’ve got to keep working on a lot of different aspects of my game in order to get more minutes and keep getting better.”
The winger studies his teammates to find areas he can improve his own game, he displays the mentality of a top performer, so it is no surprise he is attracting interest from the top teams.
West Brom have their own targets of playing in the Premier League next season, and Tom Fellows is a pivotal part of those ambitions, but should the club fall short, it seems likely he could still be plying his trade in the top-flight next season.
