Liverpool fans have been left furious after Kieran Trippier committed a "blatant handball" in the Carabao Cup final.
Arne Slot's side had travelled down to Wembley to clash with Newcastle with the first silverware of the season on offer in the crunch clash. And Liverpool fans thought their side should have had the chance to take the lead from the spot.

Trippier had been battling Luis Diaz when the ball bounced up and hit his hand in the area. However, VAR was quick to review the incident and declare there was no penalty.
"‘They’ll probably let him get away with it’ was wild commentary from Neville regarding the handball, I bet they’d still be talking about it if that was Virgil or Konate," one fan fumed.
"The handball was so clear Neville immediately called it live," a second seethed. While a third posted: "I actually can’t believe that handball isn't given, Diaz is in on goal if it doesn’t hit his hand!"

"It's been coming. Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk stayed where they were. Kieran Trippier has delivered and so has Dan Burn."
While Stephen Warnock, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, added: "Quite brilliant from Newcastle's point of view. Kieran Trippier's ball to the back post and it is a great header from Dan Burn.
"There is question marks over Liverpool's marking - why is Mac Allister picking up the biggest player on the pitch?"
