Iconic TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were in attendance at Wembley to watch Newcastle's EFL Cup final clash with Liverpool on Sunday.

The Tyneside stars, known more commonly as 'Ant and Dec', celebrated as Dan Burn scored the Magpies' first in the game just moments before half-time.

Newcastle are chasing their first major trophy since they won the 1955 FA Cup final; a win over Arne Slot's Reds would end a 70-year trophy drought for the Toon.

Burn opened the scoring for Newcastle with a header from no less than 15 yards out, following Kieran Trippier's corner. The 6ft 5in centre back climbed the ladder to nod the ball into the bottom left corner.

Burn's goal means that he has now scored more non-penalty goals in cup finals than Liverpool's Mohamed Salah - the Egyptian King is yet to manage such a feat.
