Gary Neville has taken aim at Liverpool for their first-half performance in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
The Reds came into the showdown at Wembley as the favourites following their impressive Premier League form this season.
However, they were second best during the opening 45 minutes at the home of English football. And eventually Newcastle’s pressure told as Dan Burn headed his side ahead.
Kieran Trippier swung in a corner, and after the centre-back escaped marker Alexis Mac Allister, he headed the ball into the far corner of the net.
Speaking after the goal, the former Manchester United defender Neville took aim at the Reds, saying: "It is black and white bedlam! I have never felt Wembley shake.

“It has been coming. Burns has won every first contact from a corner. What a header. Liverpool haven't turned up. Newcastle has. They have got what they deserve."
Before Neville continued: "Arne Slot will be flabbergasted as to how passive his side have been in the opening 45 minutes. There has been nothing there."
Previewing the game, Reds boss Slot said: "They will go all in, like they were at St. James' Park. Letting us know that they are there.
"At Anfield they were waiting a bit more.
"At St. James' Park they were constantly at us, and that's what you can expect in a final.
"Not so different than other games. If you work for Liverpool every game is important.
"I know it's a final and it is special to be in this stadium. Looking forward to it, but the nine games that are coming are just as important."
