ISLAMABAD — A four-and-a-half-year-old Afghan refugee, identified as Zia Falak, died after falling from the sixth floor of a residential building in Islamabad, sources told Amu TV on Sunday.

The child reportedly fell from an apartment in Faisal Town on Saturday night under unclear circumstances and died at the scene, the sources said.

Family members said they had been awaiting a decision on their asylum application for more than a year.
