Liverpool could be preparing for the departure of captain Virgil van Dijk at the end of the campaign.
The Netherlands international has been a key part of their success over the years, but his future is uncertain at the moment.
His current deal expires at the end of June and reports claim that the Reds have yet to persuade him to prolong his contract.
It now appears that the Merseyside giants are bracing for his departure. They are in advanced talks to sign Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi.
Guehi predominantly occupies the left centre-back role and the Englishman is likely to fill the void left by Van Dijk's free transfer.
Alongside Van Dijk, the Reds are also poised to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah at the end of the campaign.
The duo are also contracted until the end of June. Real Madrid are already in contact with Alexander-Arnold's agent about a Bosman move.
Salah is reportedly on the radar of Saudi Pro League clubs.
