Fresh off their second Super Bowl in franchise history and first under head coach Nick Sirianni, the Philadelphia Eagles have lost plenty of players and coaches over the last month of celebrating.
The Eagles have moved quickly, though, to replace some of the talent that has left, and the brain trust that has taken promotions across the board elsewhere.
Philadelphia recently signed an additional coach's assistant to work directly with Sirianni, that should enhance the staff as well - a sign that the organization is never done looking for ways to improve.
Sirianni and the team hired 26-year-old Cole Peterson to an assistant role to the head coach of the organization.
Peterson was previously with the University of Alabama-Birmingham before Philly where he served as chief of staff and executive director of football operations. This role is expected to position him as a personal assistant to Sirianni - distinct from higher-level coaching positions such as assistant head coach or associate head coach.
Peterson is the third hire to the current Eagles coaching staff.

Montgomery VanGorder was previously with the Georgia Bulldogs but has since become the Eagles assistant quarterback coach. Former Bowling Green head coach Scot Loeffler was hired as the team's quarterback coach.
As a replacement for their offensive coordinator role, the Eagles promoted Kevin Patullo as the group's play-caller going into the new season as well.
Peterson and Loeffler are two college hires that show the organization is looking for new ideas to help enhance the organization as they build off their Super Bowl. With Patullo leading the way, the Eagles should look at least a little different in 2025.
