Bill Belichick's girlfriend responds to troll who taunted her over 49-year age gap

NFL legend Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, has hit back at online trolls criticising their age gap romance. The 72-year-old coaching icon and his 23-year-old partner have been together for over a year, frequently appearing in public and posting affectionate pictures online despite the near 50-year age difference that has drawn some criticism.

When an Instagram user recently dared to question their relationship, writing, "But you do realize your relationship is insane right."

Hudson responded with a sharp retort on her story: "But you do realize direct messaging a stranger on Instagram with the intent of harassing them regarding their own personal relationship is insane, right?" She then playfully asked her followers to decide what was worse: the Instagram critic's lack of manners or their grammar.

Hudson has remained supportive of Belichick since he left his long-standing position with the New England Patriots, where he secured six Super Bowl titles and established a dynasty alongside star quarterback Tom Brady. After taking a break from the 2024 NFL season and even interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons, the renowned head coach decided to venture into college football to lead North Carolina.

This will be Belichick's first season coaching at the collegiate level, and he aims to steer the Tar Heels to significant success. Belichick has expressed optimism after taking the reins in North Carolina, saying: "I don't really have any expectations.

"It's going to be up to each individual. I know we've got a good plan; I know we can do the right things to put a good product on the field. Everyone who buys into it and wants to be a part of it will be a part of it. And if they don't, they can go somewhere else. That's their decision."

The Tar Heels' players have been keen to impress in their initial training sessions, mirroring the vigour of an NFL rookie minicamp, with Belichick observing: "It's kind of similar to what a rookie minicamp would be and time with the rookies.

"We're starting to put everything together -- here's how we do things, here's what our expectations are, this is what you need to do to be successful. They've embraced that and tried to do it. We haven't accomplished anything, but we're a lot further along than we were five weeks ago. We're getting there."

Embracing his role as head coach, Belichick concluded: "That's the great thing about being a head coach -- I can coach anybody I want. I can coach the line, I can yell at the tight ends, I can yell at the DBs, I can yell at the kickers. I can go to any group I want and coach them. And honestly, that's the fun part."
