Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has not exactly been the darling of the media the last few years. It all changed on Sunday as Watson announced his engagement to his longtime sweetheart, Jilly Anais.
Watson was first known as a college quarterback who led Clemson to a national championship win over Alabama.
He was later accused by dozens of women of sexual misconduct during massages. The publicity and public backlash got so bad, he was traded from the Houston Texans to the Cleveland Browns.
To make matters worse, Watson cannot stay healthy as he has dealt with several major injuries since arriving in Cleveland. Last year he tore his Achilles tendon and was placed on injured reserve, missing most of the season. While rehabilitating, he tore it again and will miss the entire 2025 season.

Watson's fortune took a turn for the better on Sunday when he and his longtime girlfriend announced they were engaged. They took to social media to make the announcement which was met with nothing but cheers and well wishes.
"Mrs. Watson Loading...", she wrote on Instagram.
"Congratulations!!!!", one fan wrote.
"Omggggggg! Pop out with a fiance' then! Will you even be able to fit your hand in your purse? Absolutely beautiful," another fan wrote.

All Watson said on social media was two words.
"MORE GLORY"
