The Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a 107-96 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, thanks in large part to a monster outing from superstar guard Luka Doncic. The Suns simply had no answer for Doncic in this game, and that was something he acknowledged himself with a strong four-word message after scoring a tough bucket.
Doncic finished the game leading Los Angeles in scoring (33 points), rebounding (11 boards), and passing (eight assists). Phoenix struggled to find a way to slow down the Slovenian guard, and it led to a hilarious mic'd up clip of him emerging during the game where he called out the Suns for being unable to guard him.
"I've never been open so much in life," Doncic said during the game. "That's the first time I've made this open shot."
Phoenix didn't have an answer for Doncic on the offensive end of the floor, which is a big reason why they lost. After hitting an and-one shot against Oso Ighodaro, Doncic rubbed salt in the Suns' wounds with a simple four-word message that was picked up by fans in the stands.
"He cannot guard me," Doncic said after converting his shot over Ighodaro.

With this win, the Lakers snapped a four-game losing streak that they had recently endured in the wake of LeBron James suffering a groin injury. With a 41-25 record, L.A. has given themselves some breathing room in the standings as the red-hot Golden State Warriors lurk behind them.
Los Angeles won't get much time to enjoy this win, as they will be back in action for the second night of a back-to-back when they square off against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night at 10:30 p.m. EST.
