Barcelona boss Hansi Flick was a happy man after seeing his team beat [Atletico Madrid 4-2 in La Liga on Sunday night](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/3/16/24385662/atletico-madrid-barcelona-la-liga-final-score-match-report-recap-reactions).

The Catalans returned to the top of the table with a huge victory over Diego Simeone’s side that makes it a miserable win for Los Colchoneros.

Atletico had led the game 2-0 but were stunned as Barca scored four times in the last 20 minutes to leave their manager smiling.

> “It was unbelievable, after going 2-0 down, the mentality we showed, we never gave up in this match,” he told the media.

>

> “I am very happy for the team because they deserved it, the way we played was really good and I’m happy. The reaction was really great.”

Ferran Torres scored twice after coming on as a substitute, and Flick was proud of his performance and that of the whole squad.

> “Ferran is fantastic. He trains very well and is at a great level. He always gives 100 percent,” he added.

>

> “Tthe players who came in, they train really well. At the moment, it seems like we have a starting XI, but the players who were on the bench, they also train really well. It’s a good situation.”

Barcelona players will now head off on international duty for the next couple of weeks. The team’s next game is at the end of March against Girona.
