Raiders duo Hudson Young and Morgan Smithies have been handed a breach notice over their hotel incident before the NRL season opener in Las Vegas.
The pair made headlines in Sin City just days out from Canberra's round one clash with the Warriors, after they were involved in a scuffle at the team hotel.
While both men have played in their two games to date, the NRL have now revealed both Young and Smithies have been breached for bringing the game into disrepute.

"The NRL today issued Canberra Raiders players Hudson Young and Morgan Smithies with a breach notice alleging a breach of the NRL code of conduct," a statement said.

"The breach notice alleges the players engaged in conduct which has brought the game and their club into disrepute. The NRL recognises that the players provided a public apology and have accepted responsibility for their actions.
"In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with the RLPA, information concerning the NRL's proposed sanction will not be disclosed until the players have had the opportunity to respond to the alleged breach and the matter is finalised."

At this stage, the nature of the punishment is unclear, but it would be unlikely either star would face suspension given they were allowed to play in the first two rounds.
Young and Smithies fronted media in Vegas after the incident took place, apologising for any harm caused by their actions and the negative light it placed the club and game in.
Canberra have started their campaign with wins over the Warriors and Broncos.
