JEJU, South Korea -- There is no exit in sight from the political turmoil in South Korea sparked by President Yoon Suk Yeol's abrupt and short-lived declaration of martial law in early December last year.
Tensions have risen between Yoon's supporters and opponents, as the Constitutional Court prepares to rule on his impeachment case as early as this week, three months after the National Assembly impeached the president, with more than two-thirds of the lawmakers voting in favor.
