Despite dealing with ankle and elbow issues, Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic still went off in Saturday's tough loss to the Washington Wizards.
The three-time NBA MVP flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 40 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and a steal. Unfortunately for the Nuggets, Jokic's monster performance still was not enough to overcome the Wizards as they lost to a Jordan Poole game-winning trey, 126-123.
Denver is back in action on Monday in a marquee matchup against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Nuggets have now announced Jokic's status for the game, and the fact that the seven-time All-Star has been listed as questionable to play could be a cause for concern.

The silver lining here is that Jokic has played through these injuries over the past several games. He was, however, listed as probable to play ahead of the Wizards game, so the fact that he is now questionable against the Warriors is a downgrade for the six-time All-NBA big man.

It is important to note that apart from Jokic, three other starters have found themselves on the injury report as well. Christian Braun is likely to play after being listed as probable, but Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon have both been tagged as questionable.
The Nuggets currently have a 43-25 record and are tied with the Houston Rockets and the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 2 seed in the West. With the regular season winding down, every win will count from here on out.
