Alejandro Garnacho is yet another example of the fantastic talent that has been nurtured and produced by Manchester United’s established academy.
Manchester United beat Leicester City 3-0 on Sunday night as Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund ended their goal droughts.
Hojlund opened the scoring in the first half, netting his first goal in 22 matches, while Garnacho doubled United’s lead in the second half, ending his 25-game wait for goal.
The win was sealed just before stoppage time when United’s main man Bruno Fernandes scored the pick of the bunch.
For Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, defeat means the Foxes are unlikely to survive the relegation scrap at the bottom of the table.
The win lifts United to 13th in the Premier League.

But there is no denying that Garnacho models his game on Ronaldo, who many see as the youngster’s biggest idol.
Garnacho’s strike against Leicester proves that the young forward is following in Ronaldo’s footsteps at Old Trafford by matching his Premier League goals record before turning 21.
Ronaldo had scored 14 in the Premier League before turning 21 and Garnacho has until the end of the season to better that feat.
United have nine league games left before the 2024/25 Premier League campaign comes to an end.
What’s next for Garnacho?
Garnacho will not be involved in the March internationals because the United star was cut from Lionel Scaloni’s recent Argentina squad.
This means Garnacho has two weeks to recharge his batteries before United get back to action in April.
Next up for United and Garnacho is a trip to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, a week before the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
Garnacho will have a chance to surpass Ronaldo’s return before the end of the season.
