After appearing for the first time for the Old Trafford giants, Amass wrote on Instagram: "Amazing feeling to make my debut for such a massive club and a great win for the team."

His post on social media was met with a number of messages from his teammates, including captain and player-of-the-match, Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese wrote: "Just the beginning," while Mason Mount, who returned to the matchday squad, put: "Day to remember, congrats brother."

Diogo Dalot joined them, alongside fellow Academy graduate Toby Collyer, who put: "Well deserved bro."

With England star Luke Shaw out injured and the likes of Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, Harry Maguire and Ayden Heaven out, Amass could be set for more appearances in the first-team this season.
