A look at the latest Tottenham injury news as they head into the international break.
Tottenham now go into the international break on the back of another defeat. Spurs were beaten by European hopefuls Fulham on Sunday, and Ange Postecoglou’s men are in 14th spot heading into the break, now below Manchester United.
The Europa League will be Tottenham’s priority from here, but Postecoglou also needs to show his side are improving as he battles to keep his job. Here we round up the latest on Spurs’ injury situation heading into the break, with a date against Chelsea waiting on the other side.
Radu Dragusin - Out for the season
Dragusin will be out for much of the calendar year after rupturing his ACL and requiring surgery. A statement said at the time: “Radu underwent surgery today following his ACL injury. That procedure has now been completed, and the centre-back will now commence with his recovery before beginning the rehab process.”
Dejan Kulusevski - Back after the break
Kulusevski’s setback is not extensive, with Postecoglou having said last week: “Deki is the only one [who hasn't travelled]. He's got a knock on the foot, [and] it's got a bit sore in the last couple of weeks. He's been able to train and play, but it wasn’t getting better. He's unlikely to be back before the international break.”
Kevin Danso - Back after the break
Danso is another who should be set for a return after the break. Postecoglou said last week: “He felt it right at the end of the game, so we will see. We have the international break, and Kevin looks after himself, so we will give him a good chance to get back. We have to let it settle down before we get clarity, but he will be pushing for sure.”
Richarlison - Could be back after the break
Richarlison is getting closer to a return and has a chance of making the Chelsea game on April 1. Postecoglou said last week: “Probably post-international break. I think he should be there or thereabouts, depending on his progress. It's good to see him out on the grass.”
