Allan Saint-Maximin fires two-word message to Bruno Guimaraes after Newcastle win Carabao Cup

Newcastle United rewrote the story on Sunday.

No longer are Newcastle United stuck on a never-ending trophy drought. Everything about the club has changed. They are Carabao Cup champions, the first League Cup success in their 133-year history.

Newcastle beat Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final and fully deserved their victory.

Naturally, players from the past and present were celebrating.

Saint-Maximin, a popular figure during his time at the club and a beaten finalist in 2023, responded with the words: “My bro” coupled with a few emotional emojis.
