Everton have all but secured Premier League safety despite having to settle for a point at home to West Ham.

Improvements have certainly been made at Everton ever since the appointment of David Moyes, though there have been the occasional concerns.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last nine league encounters, though only four of them have ended in victory with their 1-1 draw with West Ham the latest case of dropped points.

With that said, securing Premier League safety has been the goal for Everton after the dismal start to the campaign they had, and it seems as though they have all but cemented their place in England’s top flight next season.

Moyes is the catalyst behind Everton revival

When Sean Dyche was in charge, relegation seemed like a genuine possibility for Everton, and had they not acted when they did, it could have been a very different story at this stage in the season.

However, Moyes has completely changed their fortunes around, and there is plenty of optimism to be had ahead of their move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

According to the latest Opta supercomputer predictions, Everton are forecasted to finish 16th in the Premier League, with a zero per cent chance of relegation.

Everton need to find a way to turn draws into wins

Of course, given their current position in the league, they also have a zero per cent chance of achieving any form of qualification, though that will come as little surprise.

Moyes’ side are predicted to finish the season on 44 points, 20 points clear of Ipswich Town who are forecast to occupy the final relegation spot.

West Ham, despite being one spot below the Toffees as it stands, are expected to finish one place above come the end of the season.

Everton must turn draws into wins

Given the turnaround at Goodison Park this season, it is hard to be overly critical. However, the number of draws is becoming somewhat of a concern heading into the new campaign.

Attacking quality has been lacking for Everton this season, and the recent form of Beto hasn’t helped particularly much.

While the focus for now will be on the pitch, the number of draws showcases the need for an injection of quality in the final third once the summer comes around.
