’In a few years': Jarrod Bowen makes exciting David Moyes prediction that Everton fans will…

David Moyes has brought back the good feeling in the blue half of Merseyside.

Everton were in a relegation battle when David Moyes took the reigns from Sean Dyche, but now, they sit 17 points clear of the bottom three.

Moyes has got fans believing again and with heavy investment expected in the squad this summer transfer window, the future is bright.

Everton are already eyeing Hamza Igamane after his prolific season in Scotland with Rangers whilst work is being done on Tom Fellows, too.

Now, one of Moyes’ former West Ham United players Jarrod Bowen has just issued an exciting prediction about the Scotsman.

Jarrod Bowen gives exciting David Moyes prediction

Bowen, speaking to West Ham’s website, has admitted that he expects Moyes to gain a lot of plaudits over the next few years in a subtle nod that Everton will enjoy great success under his stewardship.

“I loved working with him, really enjoyed my time with him,” Bowen said. “Massive respect for what he’s done and what he achieved here with us.

“I think in a few years to come he’ll get the credit that I think he fully deserves. As a club he really changed the dynamic and brought European football for three years on the bounce and a European trophy.

Everton should aim to finish top 10 next season

Since Moyes rejoined the Toffees for a second spell, they’ve picked up the fifth most points in the division.

Injuries have slowed down their form lately, but they’re still nine unbeaten in the Premier League, so they’re very resilient.

With investment in the summer, Everton should be aiming to finish in the top 10 next season before mounting a challenge for Europe.

The future is certainly bright on Merseyside.
