Aston Villa could be able to make Axel Disasi's loan move permanent after reports his parent club Chelsea are looking to offload seven or eight names in a busy summer window at Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman only began his journey at Villa Park in February on a deal that runs until the summer after struggling to find minutes at the London club. But the defender has had a turn of fortune at Villa becoming a regular feature as a right centre back in a back three or as a straight right back in a back four.
Although being a new addition to Unai Emery's set up, Disasi is a proven force at the back, with over 300 appearances to his name and five caps for his national team. The Frenchman seems to be enjoying his time in Birmingham already impressing with a man of the match performance against Brentford a couple of weeks ago.

Speaking to Sky Sports after that game Disasi said: "I just tried to do my best to help the team. I am very happy how everything is going at Villa, everything is top and I have a lot of confidence."
The defender made the move to London just two years ago after signing from Monaco for around £40 million although after some patchy form at Stamford Bridge the 27-year-old is now valued at around £25 million according to TransferMarkt.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Chelsea are looking to recoup some cash in a summer clearout that will see seven or eight players leave the club, including loanees Disasi and Kepa, to help fund new Portuguese additions Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon and Dário Essugo from Las Palmas.
