‘Concrete possibility’ Luis Diaz leaves Liverpool one year after Manchester City interest

Speaking on his official YouTube channel, the Italian transfer guru revealed that Diaz could actually leave Liverpool in the summer, with Romano also sharing some light on Manchester City’s interest in signing the winger last year.

Romano said about Diaz’s future and the clubs that could be interested in the forward: “For Luis Diaz, there is a concrete possibility that he leaves Liverpool. At the moment, it’s not guanreteed, but it’s a complete possibility.

“There were some Saudi clubs interested in signing him, but he decided to continue at Liverpool to respect Liverpool, one year ago there was interest from Manchester City but it never happened, but the interest was genuine.

“Now, let’s see what happens, because Barcelona are looking for a winger and Luis Diaz is appreciated by some people at the club, but financially how much Barca can invest in terms of transfer fee and a salary. Financially, for Liverpool, Diaz is an important player, so lets see what happens.”

Liverpool cannot sell Luis Diaz to Manchester City under any condition

With Danny Murphy lauding Diaz’s recent Premier League performance against Newcastle United, the Colombian international has been in top form for Liverpool this season, with the left-sided attacker really showing his quality under Slot.

Which is why Liverpool cannot allow Diaz to join City under any circumstances this summer, even if the Manchester giants end up putting up a huge transfer fee to bring the attacker to the Etihad Stadium this off-season.
