Will Nikola Jokic Play in Denver Nuggets-Golden State Warriors?

The Denver Nuggets are in a three-way tie for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference with the Los Angeles Lakers one game behind them as the No. 5 seed.

Evidently, every win matters down the stretch of the regular season and the squad is set to play against the scorching hot Golden State Warriors on Monday night.

With the Warriors riding a seven-game win streak, the Nuggets will have quite a challenge as they roll into the Bay Area to take on Golden State.

Denver, on the other hand, has lost three of their past five games and are in quite shaky form as the the playoffs are rapidly approaching.

The injury report could have a massive impact on the contest, too. On Sunday night, the Warriors announced Stephen Curry is questionable with low back soreness. Quinten Post is also questionable for the matchup, as the rookie center has been brilliant for Denver.

Will Nikola Jokic play in Nuggets-Warriors?

For the Nuggets, Christian Braun is probable with left foot inflammation. Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon are both questionable.

The star guard is dealing with a right ankle sprain as Gordon has a right calf injury.

The big domino that could fall is Jokic's injury status. He's listed as questionable with his right elbow and ankle injuries.

It's hard to imagine that Jokic doesn't try to force his way into playing in this contest. The Serbian superstar is the hub of the squad and makes them significantly better.

With every win or loss being massive, one would assume the three-time MVP works his way onto the court to at least play in the game, but it'll ultimately come down to his pre-game warmup and what the team decides on his behalf.
