31 G/A striker backed to seal Premier League move amid Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United links

Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, and William Troost-Ekong has commented on the situation.

Victor Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, and he has been linked with clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United. According to Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong via talkSPORT, the Nigerian international is likely to seal a move to the Premier League in the summer.

The 26-year-old striker has picked up 31 goal contributions this season, and he could prove to be an excellent acquisition for all three English clubs.

Troost-Ekong said, “I know he’s a Chelsea fan, but I also know he’s had talks with all the top teams. It’s up to him what he chooses. He will fit into every team. I know Liverpool have spoken about getting a new striker next season. We will see.

“I’m also reading like everyone else is, that he has a clause this summer. When he went to Galatasaray I think it worked out amazingly for him. I couldn’t see him playing there for another season, or anywhere else but the Premier League next season.”

Osimhen would improve all three clubs

Arsenal need an upgrade on Gabriel Jesus, and the Nigerian international would be a superb acquisition. Victor Osimhen will add goals and creativity to the Arsenal attack, and he could transform them in the final third.

Arsenal have not been able to win major trophies in recent seasons, and a quality goalscorer could take them to a whole new level. Osimhen has previously helped Napoli win the Serie A title, and he has the ability to guide Arsenal back to the top of English football as well.

As for Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson has shown improvement this season, but he needs more support in the final third. Signing another reliable striker would be a wise decision. Chelsea are looking to return to the UEFA Champions league, and they will be hoping to fight for major trophies as well. Osimhen could prove to be an excellent addition.

Manchester United signed Joshua Zirkzee last summer, but the Dutch international has not been able to live up to the expectations, although he has improved considerably of late. Manchester United need an upgrade, and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for the Nigerian international.

Osimhen has the physical and technical attributes to do well in England, and he could be a star for all three clubs. So, amid his links with high-profile clubs, it will be interesting to see where he lands in the summer transfer window.
