The Blues have defensive reinforcements as the top target for summer. They want to sign atleast 2 new defenders. In contrast, 2 are already linked with exit. As of now, Chalobah and Disasi are linked with exit whereas Badiashile also finds his future uncertain at the club.
Chelsea have two players heavily linked with the summer move. First is Dean Huijsen who is 19 years old and has impressed almost all top clubs with his performances. Second on the list is Chelsea’s former player Marc Guehi.
Huijsen will require £50 million release clause to be paid fully. He also has several other European top clubs interest in him. On the other hand, signing Guehi can prove trick due to his demand and quality. The Blues have already been handed blow in Guehi pursuit.

Liverpool are ready to transform their back-line this summer. Virgil van Dijk has still not signed new contract and hence can leave for free in summer. In addition, Konate is also linked with away move and hence new defender will become the top priority of the club.
Chelsea let Guehi leave in 2021 as a talented youngster. He is now regular starter for England national team and one of the best players in England. Despite him having 1 year left on Crystal Palace contract, he will cost a hefty amount to any interested clubs.
