New Buffalo Bills special teamer/receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. is ready to do his part for Joe Brady's offense in 2025.
Coming from the Seattle Seahawks and then the Los Angeles Chargers, Shenault Jr. has been used largely as a kick returner over the past couple of seasons. His speed and the potential for a home-run hit every time he touches the ball are likely key ingredients in why the Bills signed him.
With the new return rules on show last season, we saw how devastating returners can be, and Shenault Jr. is ready to take his chance with the Bills and remind everyone of his quality after a down season.
"I think anytime the ball's in my hands, it's a great possibility something great will happen," Shenault Jr. said. "I get to touch the ball, and with the new rules, I think it's just a lot of opportunity. I feel like I left a lot on the field last year so I'm looking forward to leaving nothing on the field this year."
While his skills as a returner are well-documented, let's not forget what Shenault Jr. can do as a receiver, and it is here where his value to the Bills could increase.
In his first two NFL seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Shenault Jr. posted at least 600 receiving yards and over 50 receptions to be a valuable member of the passing game.

No doubt Brady will be looking to integrate him into the passing game, and with his blistering pace, Shenault could prove to be quite the underrated weapon for Buffalo in 2025.
He is coming off a down year, and Shenault Jr. seems intent on making the most of his latest opportunity.
