Former Gunner trolls Spurs after their latest defeat

Former Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi took to social media to troll Tottenham Hotspur following Fulham’s win over Ange Postecoglou’s side on Sunday.

Whilst Arsenal were taking on Chelsea in Sunday’s early kick-off, north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur were playing against Chelsea’s local rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage.

There were a number of former Gunners involved in the Fulham lineup, with Emile Smith Rowe, Willian, Alex Iwobi, and Bernd Leno all starting the match.

But it was a former Spurs player who ended up plunging the knife into his old club, with Ryan Sessegnon scoring a late settler to put Fulham 2-0 up.

Even so, there was clearly a big Arsenal influence in Spurs’ latest defeat, and Iwobi enjoyed the moment with a couple of posts on social media.

The winger shared a picture of himself winking on Snapchat, captioned “what do we think of…” a clear reference to Arsenal fan chant “what do we think of Tottenham?”

Iwobi then also shared a similar post on Twitter, along with a few pictures from the game.

Iwobi will have to focus back on his current club after the international break, with Fulham taking on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on April 1st.

But until then, both fanbases can enjoy their respective wins over each other’s rivals. With Arsenal beating Chelsea 1-0 and Fulham winning 2-0, it was a good day for the two teams and their supporters.
