Abdallah Sima has expressed his delight at Rangers earning a 3-2 victory over Celtic in the Old Firm derby at Parkhead on Sunday.
Rangers claimed the bragging rights in the latest iteration of the Old Firm derby after beating Premiership table-toppers Celtic at their own home on 16 March.
Hamza Igamane emerged as the hero for Barry Ferguson‘s side after they found themselves under the cosh in the wake of the Hoops nullifying Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande’s first-half goals.
Brendan Rodgers’ men looked to capitalise on their second-half surge, but the Moroccan stunned the Celtic Park crowd by nicking an 88th-minute winner.

Sima buzzing after Rangers win v Celtic
Raskin was one of the standout performers for Rangers, assisting Diomande’s goal after scoring the opener, and later took to social media to express his joy at contributing towards the win.

Writing in an Instagram post on Sunday, the Belgian midfielder described the result as “incredible” as he did not shy away from showing his emotions.
It was a joyous evening for anyone associated with Rangers after all and it was no different for Sima, although he was only at Ibrox for a season.
The Brighton ace was among those who reacted to Raskin’s post, writing “incredible” in French along with a heart-eyes emoji.
Raskin also drew a reaction from former Gers sporting director Ross Wilson, who commented with a blue heart and clapping emojis, while Diomande also joined in.

Raskin Old Firm display in numbers
The opener against Celtic was Raskin’s first Premiership goal of the season. However, the 24-year-old’s performance went beyond the goal and assist.
He registered a total of 43 touches in the game, completing 14 of the 24 passes he attempted [FotMob].

Despite the low pass success rate (58 per cent), Raskin created one big chance, while getting both of his attempted shots on target.
It is also worth noting that five of his 14 passes were played into the final third, with the midfielder also completing the only dribble he attempted.
Raskin was also heavily involved in duels, winning seven of his 12 attempts on the ground and three out of four in the air.
