Manchester United made it two wins in a matter of days by beating Leicester 3-0 away from home on Sunday night.
The last few days have been some of the best of the Ruben Amorim era at Manchester United.
United beat Real Sociedad 4-1 in the Europa League on Thursday night, advancing to the last eight of the competition.
That result was then followed with another victory as United beat Leicester City 3-0 in the Premier League.
Rasmus Hojlund celebrated ending his goal drought with the United opener before Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes sealed the win.
There hasn’t been much for United fans to shout about this season, but the last few days have been real signs of positivity.

Ruud van Nistelrooy on Manchester United
Sunday’s game saw United take on Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Former striker Van Nistelrooy is a United hero from his playing days and returned to the club as a coach last summer.

Van Nistelrooy departed United upon Ruben Amorim’s arrival but was quickly given the chance to manage Leicester City.
This spell has not been ideal for Van Nistelrooy though with the Foxes seemingly set for relegation.
Van Nistelrooy was a lethal striker in his day but his Leicester side have managed just three league goals in 10 games during 2025.
That lack of cutting edge was on show again on Sunday night as Leicester failed to get on the scoresheet yet again.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the game, Van Nistelrooy rued that his side couldn’t take the chances they created.
Van Nistelrooy felt that United’s efficiency in front of goal was ‘very high’, scoring three times from three shots on target to impress the Leicester boss.
Leicester had three shots on target but couldn’t score, leaving Van Nistelrooy frustrated despite putting United ‘under pressure’.
“In the end you lose so it’s disappointing. Of course, the effort put in and the chances created it is all there,” said Van Nistelrooy.
“Dealing with both boxes is always the challenge at this level. The efficiency was very high on United’s side. We were unlucky that we didn’t score.
“It didn’t go the right way for us, then the game changes. The momentum turned, but we kept going and kept playing and bringing many attackers on the pitch. We wanted to be positive, we put United under pressure,” he added.
Ruud van Nistelrooy sends defiant message
United fans will always have love for Van Nistelrooy and ultimately want to see him shine as a manager.
Wesley Sneijder is backing Van Nistelrooy for a United return one day, believing that he can come back as the Old Trafford boss.
Van Nistelrooy needs results and progress at Leicester though and that just isn’t happening.
The Dutchman may well be in danger of losing his job come the end of the season and has offered a defiant message to The Athletic.
“I’ll stay myself, I’m not changing as a person or as a coach,” said Van Nistelrooy.
“The approach that we are trying to achieve with the players on the training pitch and in the approach of games is the road that we’re on. Of course, we are adjusting and we’re trying everything possible to change results around. That’s my job and I will continue to do so,” he added.
Van Nistelrooy clearly believes that he can turn Leicester around and whilst they may not come this season, he will hope for long-term success with the Foxes.
