Bad Bunny took his maximalist style to Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena this Sunday to cheer on the Lakers.
The reggaeton singer sat courtside with friends, and his game-day fit delivered a lesson in mixing prints and colors. Up top, Bunny wore a cozy ribbed sweater in a subdued green camouflage print. He styled it with basketball shorts in a much more vibrant shade of green, plus a light-gray beanie and brown vintage-inspired sunglasses with reflective lenses.

But Bunny’s shoes were the most statement-making pieces of his look. The “Nuevayol” singer slipped into a pair of bright mustard ballerina sneakers from his own collaboration with Adidas. The sleek shoes in “bold gold” have suede accents and a stretchy black band that acts as adjustable laces. A “benito” word mark in gold glistens above the brand’s signature stripes in black, while the gum sole reads, “adidas para Bad Bunny.”
The highly coveted sneaker is dropping this spring in several colorways, including black and white, and will be available to shop at select retailers.

The ballerina silhouette is having a big moment in sneaker culture. Just last week, our favorite trendsetter, Bella Hadid, stepped out in Vivaia’s pretty Lace-Up Derby Flats made of silky, ecofriendly satin. The shoes have the sophistication of a ballet slipper and the comfort and functionality of a sports sneaker. And while Bunny’s new Adidas release leans sportier, it too boasts a sleek elegance that other, clunkier designs do not.

The Lakers came out on top against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. In Bad Bunny’s own words: “El sol de PR calienta más que el de Phoenix.” (It translates to: “The sun in PR is hotter than in Phoenix.”)
