Jay Cutler’s Ex Puts Pause on Dating After Failed Relationship With Younger Guy

Jay Cutler's ex-wife Kristin Cavallari is living single five years after their split. The former Chicago Bears quarterback's ex revealed that she put a pause on dating while on the road for her Let's be Honest podcast tour, despite the fact that she had a few dates lined up.

Cavallari, 38, told guests Nikki and Brie Garcia that she was supposed to go on dates with two "known people" but canceled them so she'd have no distractions while on tour, People magazine reported. "I'm trying to stay out of headlines while I'm on the podcast," she explained.

Cavallari's remarks come six months after she made headlines for her romance with TikTok star Mark Estes. On her podcast, Cavallari explained that she broke up with the 24-year-old Montana Boyz alum because she realized the relationship was "not right."

"He's been the best boyfriend I've ever had," the mom of three clarified. "I just know long-term he needs to experience life, he's young. I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened between then, those are crucial years, those are formative years, they're when you find yourself and he needs to be able to do that."

On her live Let's be Honest tour, Cavallari described herself as "very single." "I swore off dating for the last few months, and it is up and down, if I'm being completely honest," she shared. "The last five years have been the first time in my life I've been single and I've dated."

"It's been good for me because every guy I've even talked to, I learn more about what I do and don't want," she added. "And that's been instrumental because I've made some mistakes in the past. So, we're learning right now. We're in a learning phase."

Cavallari's early relationships-as far back as high school- were seen on her early MTV reality shows Laguna Beach and The Hills. She married Cutler in 2013 after first meeting him when she was 23. The former MTV star noted that at one point she called off her engagement to the NFL star.

"I called off the engagement the same reason I got a divorce -- same reasons, I should say," she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2022. "I guess if there's any takeaway from that, it's that you can't ignore red flags, people don't change, and you gotta trust your gut."
