Devin Booker’s Major Suns Admission After Lakers Loss

The Los Angeles Lakers snapped their four-game losing streak with a 107-96 win over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. It marked the first of five straight home games for LA, setting the tone for a crucial stretch that includes matchups against the Denver Nuggets and Suns again.

With LeBron James still sidelined, Luka Doncic stepped up once more, finishing with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, continuing his dominance against Phoenix. The win improved the Lakers to 41-25, keeping them in the hunt for a top-two seed in the Western Conference.

For the Suns, the loss was another setback in their push for a playoff spot, as they remain 11th in the West, two games behind the Dallas Mavericks.

Kevin Durant led the way with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Devin Booker struggled again, scoring 19 points on just 35.3% shooting.

After the game, Booker voiced his frustration over the team's inconsistency.

"We've had some terrible starts, and it's frustrating. We show we can do the right thing sometimes, and then sometimes we don't," Booker said.

He also criticized the lack of effort from the team.

"If you're playing with energy and effort, you can sleep well at night regardless, and I don't think we're doing that right now."

The Suns haven't won back-to-back games since late January and will look to bounce back when they host the Toronto Raptors on Monday night. The Lakers will also be in action on Monday, facing the San Antonio Spurs at Crypto.com Arena.
