New Colts safety Camryn Bynum is one of several new faces that will be roaming the defensive secondary when the 2025 season rolls around.
A 4th round pick in 2021, Bynum spent the first four seasons of his career in Minnesota. After spending his first season has a role player, he started every game over the next three seasons for the Vikings, racking up 8 total interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. He also tacked on 217 solo tackles, 342 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks and 5 tackles for loss.
During the Monday edition of The Ride With JMV, Bynum called into the show and spoke about what led him to sign with the Colts.
_“I would say talking to Gilly, Stephon Gilmore, he’s one of the guys that I reached out to, just a vet that I respect and am close to. He knows what type of person I am, I know what type of person he is, so the fact that he highly recommended that this is a place that he loved, and a place that I would love too, that carried a lot of weight, and obviously when it comes to the business side of things, the contract \[is\] just something that can be able to set my family and I up. Really, even beyond that, just seeing everything and just the type of organization that this is, really is why I gravitated towards it and made the decision.”_
