Twenty Arkansas State football players will participate in a workout for National Football League and Canadian Football League scouts at Arkansas State’s annual Pro Day, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Student Activities Center that is located just north of Centennial Bank Stadium.
Red Wolves players slated to workout include offensive lineman Jacob Bayer, deep snapper Jack Bullard, offensive lineman Mehki Butler, wide receiver Reagan Ealy, linebacker Marvin Ham, punter Ryan Heicher, cornerback Justin Hodges, wide receiver Malik Hornsby, wide reciver Courtney Jackson, linebacker Cam Jeffery, wide receiver Adam Jones, cornerback Jordan Mahoney, defensive lineman Nate Martey, linebacker Dane Motley, safety Justin Parks, tight end Manny Stevenson Jr., safety Trevian Thomas, defensive lineman Blayne Toll, running back Zak Wallace and linebacker Charles Willekes. Pro day will begin with a closed weight room testing session, including bench press and vertical jump. The on-field workout portion begins with broad jump and is followed by 40-yard dash and pro agility before concluding with individual testing.
At least 17 NFL teams, a program all-time high, and 20 total scouts are slated to be in attendance for Pro Day. Kara Richey, host of the Workday Redzone on the EAB Ticket Network, will broadcast live from the event from noon through 2:00 p.m.
