Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is ready to see his sons, Shilo and Shedeur, follow in his footsteps at the next level. Despite his previous comments about "pulling an Eli" and dictating their NFL teams, no such plan seems likely.
Coach Prime talked about his sons at Monday's press conference and aired out his feelings.
"It's not nerve-wracking. It's a blessing, Sanders said. "They receive a lot more hate now than what I did. My kids don't have the luxury of saying where they want to go. We would never do that."
Sanders has previously went on the record about the NFL and knowing the business practices of some teams not wanting to compete at a high level. There was a "belief in league circles" that Sanders would be advising his sons throughout the pre-draft process as opposed to hiring an agent, but his comments seems to take him out of the equation.
Coach Prime was also asked about not having to coach his kids for the first time. He seemed to be at peace for obvious reasons.

"I love it because I only have to wear one hat," Sanders said. "You don't understand how much I appreciate that. When you're a dad and a coach, you're wearing two hats. You coach your butt off, but naturally, you're making sure your kids are alright at the same time, simultaneously."
Shedeur and Travis highlight Colorado Buffaloes set to shine at Big 12 Pro Day
Shedeur Sanders is considered one of the top two quarterbacks in this year's draft class. However, he has slid down many big boards after missing opportunities to compete at the East-West Shrine Game and the NFL Combine. He'll still be a first round pick, but might move past the top ten. Shilo Sanders has been working to put his name out there following a decent season in Boulder. He'll get an opportunity to improve his stock during Colorado's upcoming pro day.
