Scandalized NFL star Deshaun Watson proposed to his girlfriend Jilly Anais with a ring that is worth up to $2.5million, it has emerged.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback announced his engagement to influencer, musician, and model Anais over the weekend.

She has stood by the 29-year-old, despite him facing multiple allegations of sexual harassment and sexual assault from more than two dozen female massage therapists.

Anais and Watson, a former first-round pick, posted pictures on their engagement social media. They could be seen celebrating on the beach and flashing a huge diamond ring.

On Monday, the jeweler Vikar Ahmed - who spent seven months working with Watson to create the ideal ring - claimed it was worth up to $2.5m.

According to TMZ, 'The Glory Treasure' contains more than 20 carats of diamonds, including the 'purest chemical diamond in the world'.

The couple have been dating since 2019 as she stuck with him through major scandals

Back in 2022, Watson signed a five-year, $230m extension with the Cleveland Browns that included a $45m signing bonus and an average salary of $46m.

'Mrs. Watson loading...', Anais, a 29-year-old pop artist, captioned her post on social media.

Watson and Anais have been dating since 2019. She has remained with Watson even as he faced accusations of sexual harassment and sexual assault.

He was first hit with a lawsuit back on March 16, 2021 - four years to the day before the couple announced their engagement.

He eventually faced 24 civil lawsuits but in 2022, Watson said: 'I never assaulted anyone... I never harassed anyone or I never disrespected anyone. I never forced anyone to do anything.'

Watson was ruled out for every single Texans game in the 2021 season for 'non-injury reasons/personal matter' as a result of the allegations.

Eventually, on March 18, 2022, he was packaged with a sixth round pick and traded to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the Browns' first-round picks in 2022, 2023, and 2024 as well as a third-round pick and two fourth-round picks.

In 2022, a grand jury declined to indict Watson on criminal charges - but he was still open to civil litigation.

But that didn't prevent the NFL from suspending him for the first eleven games of the season and fining him $5million as a result of his actions.

Watson had been accused by over 20 women of sexual harassment and assault. A majority of those claims have ended in out-of-court settlements.

Despite all those accusations, Anais stuck by Watson throughout the tumultuous time

Watson tore his Achilles tendon in October and, after it was repaired, he re-tore it in January

A majority of the lawsuits have been settled out of court.

Last September, another woman filed a suit against Watson - alleging he penetrated her vagina without consent during a date in 2020. That case was resolved in January.

This past season, Watson tore his Achilles tendon on a non-contact injury that led to him missing the rest of the year.

Back in January, he suffered a re-rupture to that same tendon which could keep him out for all of 2025.
