All 32 teams in the NFL are tirelessly preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft. With draft day right around the corner, ownership and front offices across the league continue to compile their final analysis on every available player.
The first round of the draft is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m. EST, with the seventh and final round completing on Saturday, April 26. The draft will be held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
With the NFL combine behind us, and pro days under way, the Tennessee Titans are getting closer to officially being on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick. The Cleveland Browns and New York Giants will follow the Titans with picks No. 2 and 3 respectively.
While the NFL world is focused at the top of the first round, the entire first round made history this year.
The NFL made the announcement that this is the first time since the common Draft era (1970), that every NFL team owned their first-round pick when the league year began (March 12).

Every year since the NFL, AFL merger, at least one team has made a trade involving their first-round pick ahead of the league year's official start.
The past two years, the No. 1 overall pick had been moved prior to the start of the league year. In 2023, the Carolina Panthers traded for the right to draft quarterback, Bryce Young. And in 2024, the Chicago Bears moved up to draft QB, Caleb Williams.
There has been speculation that the Titans could trade the No. 1 pick, however, Cam Ward is projected to be the top pick in this year's draft, and the Titans have QB on their list of needs.
Whether any trades involving first-round picks occur prior to the start of the draft remains to be seen, however, in 2024, five round-one trades were completed.
