Chinese Embassy in Dominica Holds Press Briefing on the Spirit of the 2025 National Two Sessions

On March 14, H.E. Chu Maoming, Chinese Ambassador to Dominica,  briefed major Dominican media outlets on the key messages of the 2025 National Two Sessions. The event was attended by journalists from seven leading media outlets, including the Government Information Service (GIS), Dominica Broadcasting Service (DBS), Dominica News Online (DNO), Kairi FM, The Chronicle, The Sun, and Nature Island News, etc.

Ambassador Chu provided a comprehensive overview of China’s economic and social achievements in 2024, the overarching goals and policy directions for 2025, and the key government work priorities. He highlighted that over the past year, China has maintained economic and social stability while making strong and solid progress, and that practical cooperation between China and Dominica under the framework of Belt and Road Cooperation has yielded fruitful results. He emphasized that China’s economic goal for this year inspire global confidence and expressed optimism about the future prospects of China-Dominica cooperation. Ambassador Chu also outlined China’s current foreign policy positions.

Following the briefing, Ambassador Chu answered questions from attending journalists and engaged in discussions on topics such as the progress of China-Dominica cooperation projects and China-U.S. relations.
